Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Contractual Drilling Engineer include:

  • Supervising drilling operations at rig sites under a 21-day ON/OFF duty pattern.
  • Operating and troubleshooting rig equipment and managing downhole complications.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and Mines Act.
  • Coordinating with service providers and maintaining well records.
  • Managing day-to-day rig operations, including safety drills and progress reporting.
