Logo and Mascot Unveiled for 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2025

In an exciting event in Chennai, the official logo and mascot for the 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2025 were unveiled. Scheduled from February 17-20, the championship will host over 1,700 para-athletes from across India. Distinguished dignitaries, including Atulya Misra, Additional Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, and Thulasimathi Murugesan, an Arjuna Awardee para-badminton player, graced the unveiling ceremony. The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) has been instrumental in organizing this event, highlighting Tamil Nadu’s commitment to empowering para-athletes.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the re-appointment of Hisashi Takeuchi as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Hisashi Takeuchi will serve for another three-year term from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028. Takeuchi, who initially assumed the roles on April 1, 2022, has significantly contributed to the company’s growth. Christine Carla Kangaloo, President of Trinidad and Tobago, has been awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award. The mission required covert navigation of foreign airspace and a precise airdrop under challenging conditions.
