About the Post

The State Bank of India (SBI) is set to release the admit card for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) Preliminary Examination 2025 by 10th February 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 13,735 vacancies, including 692 posts in North Eastern states. The preliminary exam is scheduled for 22nd, 27th, 28th February, and 1st March 2025.

How to Download SBI Admit Card ?

1. Visit the official SBI website.
2. Navigate to the “Careers” section and locate the recruitment link for Junior Associates.
3. Click on the “Download Prelims Exam Call Letter” link.
4. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
5. Submit the details to view and download your admit card.
6. Print a copy of the admit card to bring to the exam center.

Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam consists of three sections:

Selection Process for Junior Associate

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

• Type: Online Objective Test
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes) with sectional time limits.

Key Points:

• There will be negative marking: 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• No minimum qualifying marks are set for individual sections or the overall score.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their aggregate marks, with approximately 10 times the number of vacancies being selected (subject to availability).

Phase-II: Main Examination

• Type: Online Objective Test
• Total Marks: 200
• Duration: 2 hours and 40 minutes (160 minutes) with sectional time limits.

Key Points:

• Negative marking applies: 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Candidates need to score a minimum percentage of marks on aggregate. A relaxation of 5% is available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates.
• No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual sections.

Test of Specified Opted Local Language

• Candidates who qualify for selection and have studied the opted local language in their Class X or XII exams (evidenced by mark sheets/certificates) will not need to take this test.
• Others will undergo a local language proficiency test after provisional selection but before joining.
• Failure to qualify in this test will result in disqualification.

Final Selection Criteria:

1. Marks from the Preliminary Examination will not contribute to the final merit list.
2. The final selection is based solely on the performance in the Main Examination.
3. Proficiency in the opted local language is mandatory for appointment.

Merit List

Stage	Details
