| Essential Qualification | Master’s/Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or other relevant disciplines. |
| Experience Requirements | – Minimum 8 years in conducting EIA, environmental modelling, and preparing Environmental Management Plans. – Strong understanding and experience in implementing World Bank Environmental Safeguard policies and ESHS guidelines. – Field experience in assessing project site issues, vulnerabilities, risks, and monitoring projects during implementation to mitigate environmental impacts. – Experience working as an environmental official/expert for major infrastructure projects, preferably in the Inland Water Transport (IWT) sector. |
| Technical Skills | Proficiency in Computer Applications to manage data and generate reports. |
| Communication Skills | Good communication skills in English and Hindi (Knowledge of Assamese is preferable). |
