India’s Smartphone Exports Reach Record ₹1.55 Trillion
India’s smartphone exports have achieved a record high of ₹1.55 trillion during the April-January period of 2024-25, thanks to the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. January 2025 alone saw a remarkable 140% surge in exports to ₹25,000 crore compared to the previous year. Key contributors include Apple’s iPhone vendors such as Foxconn, Tata Electronics, and Pegatron, which collectively accounted for nearly 70% of the total exports.
