Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • HSLC or equivalent from a recognized board (for UB, AB & Mechanic Constables).
  • Constable (Mechanic) candidates must have:
    • Completed a 1-year training course in the relevant trade from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years of work experience in a government or private automobile workshop as a Mechanic.
  • Sportsperson applicants must possess a certificate issued by the Director of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Mizoram.
  • Mechanic candidates will undergo a practical test to assess their knowledge and skills.
  • No written exam for candidates applying under the Meritorious Sportsperson quota.
