Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not older than 38 years as of January 1, 2024.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
- A three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized technical institute.
- The Diploma must be a regular course; distance mode diplomas are not accepted.
Local Language Proficiency:
Candidates should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of Assam (Assamese/Bengali/Bodo), except for those from Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao Autonomous Councils.
Citizenship:
Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residency Requirement:
- Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
- A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or Employment Exchange Registration certificate must be submitted with the application.
