- Pay Scale: As per UGC pay scale of Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400/- plus allowances as per Assam Government rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 38 years as of 01.01.2024.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualifications
- Academic Requirement:
- At least 55% marks in Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University.
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC standards.
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates (without grace).
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam and knowledge of the local language.
