About the TET Admit Card 2025

The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, is conducting the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cum Recruitment Test for the recruitment of 1487 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts and 8230 Graduate Teacher (GT) vacancies in Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit disciplines. Candidates who applied for these positions must qualify in the TET cum Recruitment Test, which is scheduled for 19 January 2025. Admit cards for the exam will be available from 3 January 2025.

How to Download Assam TET Admit Card?

1. Scroll to the Important Web-Links section.
2. Click on the “Download TET Admit Card” link.
3. The official admit card portal will open.
4. Enter your credentials: Application Number and Password.
5. Submit the form to display your admit card.
6. Download and print the admit card for use during the examination.

Note: Candidates must bring a hard copy of the admit card and a photo identity card (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Voter ID). PwBD candidates should also carry their certificates from a competent authority.

• Common Question Paper: One paper for all vacancies, regardless of subjects for Post Graduate Teacher recruitment.
• Merit List Criteria: The marks scored in the test will determine the merit list for each subject. Separate merit lists may be published for unfilled posts.

Important Points

• Examination Venues: Candidates can select their preferred venue during the online application process. The venues include:
  • Cachar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Kamrup, Kamrup Metro, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Nalbari, and Sonitpur.
• Number of Qualified Candidates: The ratio of qualified candidates to advertised vacancies will be 1:1.
• Merit List Publication: If vacancies remain after the first merit list, up to two additional merit lists may be published.
