Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
Tier I: Preliminary Examination
- Objective test for 100 marks (1 hour).
- Sections: Section Max Marks Test of English 30 Test of Reasoning 35 Test of Numerical Ability 35
Exam Centers in Assam: Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur.
Tier II: Main Examination
- Objective test for 250 marks (2 hours).
- Sections: Section Max Marks Test of Reasoning 50 Test of English 50 Test of General Awareness 50 Test of Numerical Ability 50 Computer Knowledge 50
Exam Center in Assam: Guwahati.
Tier III: Regional Language Test
- Qualifying in nature (no marks added to the final ranking).
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the regional language of the state/UT applied for.
