Selection Process & Application Guidelines for AAI Recruitment 2025
Selection Process:
- Application & Eligibility Check:
- Candidates must carefully read the instructions before applying.
- Ensure all eligibility criteria and norms are met, as false information will result in disqualification.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Provisionally eligible candidates will be issued admit cards for the CBT.
- No negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The syllabus will be available under the “Syllabus” section of Advertisement No. 01/2025/CHQ.
- Application Verification & Additional Tests:
- Candidates who qualify in the CBT will undergo application verification.
- For specific posts, additional tests like Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, or Physical Endurance Test will be conducted.
- Junior Executive (Fire Services) Additional Tests:
- Candidates must pass the Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, and Physical Endurance Test (including running, casualty carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing, and full ladder climbing/descending).
- A valid Permanent Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) License is required at the time of verification. Temporary or Learning Licenses will not be accepted.
- Selected candidates must obtain a Heavy Vehicle Driving License within two years of induction. Failure to do so will affect promotions and annual increments.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates must produce original certificates and a set of self-attested photocopies.
- Any mismatch in details or failure to provide documents will result in disqualification.
- Final Selection & Offer Letter:
- The final merit list will be prepared based on CBT performance and applicable tests.
- Offer letters will be sent via registered email and made available on the AAI website.
- Training & Service Bond (For Junior Executive – Fire Services):
- Selected candidates will undergo training with basic pay and allowances.
- They must sign a Surety Bond worth ₹5,00,000 to serve AAI for at least three years after training.
- Medical & Background Verification:
- Medical fitness, character verification, and caste or disability certificate verification will be conducted.
- Candidates will bear the cost of their medical examination.
- Posting & Service Terms:
- Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
- Color blindness and night blindness are permitted for certain posts.
Misconduct & Disqualification:
Candidates will face immediate disqualification and possible legal action if found guilty of:

Instructions for Scanning and Uploading Photograph & Signature
Photograph Requirements:
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background (taken within the last three months).
- Photos taken with a cap, hat, or dark glasses will not be accepted. However, religious headwear is permitted, provided it does not obscure the face.
- The image size should be between 30 KB to 100 KB.
- The format must be .jpg or .jpeg.
- The image should have a resolution of 200 dpi and dimensions of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
Signature Requirements:
- The applicant must sign on white paper using a black ink pen.
- The signature should be self-written and not created by any other person.
- Only the signature area should be scanned, not the entire page.
- The file size should be between 20 KB to 80 KB and must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.
Application Fee & Payment Method
- Application Fee: ₹1000 (inclusive of GST), payable online only.
- The following categories are exempted from the fee:
- SC/ST candidates
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
- Female candidates
- Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of training at AAI.
- The application is integrated with a secure payment gateway (SBI e-Pay Lite). Candidates can pay via Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Any additional transaction charges must be borne by the candidate.
- Once payment is completed, candidates will be automatically redirected to the application portal.
- It is recommended to print the submitted application for future reference. However, there is no need to send a hard copy to AAI.
- The application fee is non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate payment, which will be refunded after the application deadline.
- For security reasons, candidates should close the browser window after completing the payment.
General Guidelines for Candidates

- Final Decision & Authority of AAI
- AAI’s decisions regarding eligibility, selection process, and application rejection shall be final and binding.
- Fulfilling minimum qualifications does not guarantee selection.
- Communication & Updates

- Candidates must regularly check their email inbox (including spam/junk folders) and AAI’s website.
- AAI will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect email IDs or failure to check emails.
- Disqualification & Misrepresentation
- Providing false information at any stage will result in immediate rejection or disqualification, even after selection.
