About the Post

This role is based on a contractual basis under the Mahanadi Basin Project, Bhubaneswar. The contract will involve working in shifts and handling challenging roles in remote OIL installations.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification	Details
Educational Qualification	Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering (4-year duration) from a recognized institute.
Experience	Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
Certification	Valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADC-L4).

Contract Period

• Initial duration: 1 year, extendable by another 1 year, subject to a maximum of 2 years, based on the company’s requirements, performance, and fitness.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Contractual Drilling Engineer include:

• Supervising drilling operations at rig sites under a 21-day ON/OFF duty pattern.
• Operating and troubleshooting rig equipment and managing downhole complications.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and Mines Act.
• Coordinating with service providers and maintaining well records.
• Managing day-to-day rig operations, including safety drills and progress reporting.

2. No Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance will be paid for appearing in the interview.
