• Citizenship: Indian citizen as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution
• Domicile: Permanent resident of Assam (must upload PRC/Employment Exchange Certificate)

Educational Qualification

• Required: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE-approved institution
• OR Passed AMIE (Mechanical) Part A & B (enrolled on/before 31-05-2013)
• Note: Degree must be through regular mode; Distance education not accepted

How to Apply?

1. Online Application Only
   Candidates must apply only through the APSC recruitment website: https://apscrecruitment.in.
   Applications submitted through any other mode will be summarily rejected.
2. Registration (One Time Only)
   New users must click on “Register Here” to complete One Time Registration (OTR) by providing basic personal details.
3. Use a Valid Email ID
   Register with a valid and active email ID to receive communication regarding the interview schedule and required documents.
4. Login After Registration
   After creating the account, log in with your registered credentials.
5. Complete OTR Details
   Enter your personal info, education qualifications, work experience, and upload a recent photo and signature:
   • Photo & Signature size: 50 KB – 200 KB
   • Must not be older than 3 months
   • Required documents must be uploaded in PDF, max size 2 MB (use 200 dpi grayscale scan for clarity)
6. Application Form Submission
   Go to the “Applicant Section” → “Apply Section” to submit the application after completing the OTR.
7. Read Instructions Carefully
   Check eligibility and instructions before applying. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
8. Submit Supporting Documents
   For every claim (age, education, category, etc.), provide:
   • Certificate No., Issue Date, Issuing Authority
   • Upload scanned PDFs in legible format
9. Degree Certificate Requirements
   Degree certificates/marksheets must clearly mention:
   • Candidate’s name
   • Degree awarded
   • Subjects studied
10. Document Verification
    Submitted documents will be verified during the Viva Voce/Interview.
11. Final Submission

• Review all entries carefully.
• Click on the declaration checkbox to enable the “Preview” option.
• After previewing, click “Submit” to finalize or “Cancel” to edit.

12. Uploading Documents
    Ensure uploaded documents (qualification, caste, etc.) are clear and legible before final submission.
13. Application Fee Payment

• Pay the application + processing fee after submission.
• Fee once paid is non-refundable.

14. Payment Issues

• If payment fails, click “Validate Payment”.
• For double deductions, the bank will refund the extra amount within 5–7 working days.

15. Email Confirmation
    After successful submission, an auto-generated confirmation email will be sent.
16. Fee Payment Required
    Applications without successful fee payment will not be considered.
17. Use of Common Service Centers (CSCs)
    Candidates without online payment options can visit nearest CSCs for assistance.
18. Avoid Multiple Submissions
    Submit only one application per post.

• If multiple applications are submitted, the one with the highest application number (and complete fee) will be considered.

19. Take a Printout
    After submission, take a printout of the final online application and retain it for future reference.
20. Apply Early
    Do not wait till the last date. Submit your application well in advance to avoid last-minute rush.
