About FREMAA Recruitment
Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam (FREMAA), Guwahati, has released a notification to recruit 07 Social Development Officer and Field Supervisor posts for projects funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank.
Details of FREMAA Recruitment 2024
- Social Development Officer
- No of Post: 01 Post
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month (inclusive of local taxes)
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s/Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences (e.g., Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology).
- Experience:
- 7-8 years in social development, resettlement, stakeholder consultations, social impact assessments, and preparation of Resettlement Action Plans.
- Experience in externally aided projects like ADB, World Bank is preferred.
- Knowledge of GoI/GoA regulations, and proficiency in computer use is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Less than 62 years (must be physically fit for extensive touring).
- Placement: EAP Wing, Water Resources Department.
- Field Supervisor
- No of Posts: 06 Posts
- Remuneration: Rs. 36,000/- per month (inclusive of local taxes)
- Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences with 55% marks. Preference for Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, or Public Administration.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of field experience, preferably in census surveys, coordinating training programs, and working with District Administration.
- Knowledge of Land Acquisition procedures and fluency in Assamese is desirable.
- Age Limit: 25-45 years as of the first day of the advertisement year.
- Placement: Water Resources Divisions across Assam.
