Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized university, OR
- Graduate with a 1-year Diploma in Library Science from any recognized institution.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

- Maximum Age: 40 years as on 06 December 2024
- Upper age limit relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Selection Process
- Test Pattern:
- The Selection Test will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 1 mark.
- The question paper will be in English and Bengali.
- No negative marking in the test.
- A minimum of 50% marks (75 out of 150) must be obtained to qualify. For SC/ST/PH candidates, the minimum marks are 68 out of 150.
- Test Fees:
- UR Category: ₹300
- SC/ST/PH Category: ₹200
- Fees can only be paid online (using debit/credit card or internet banking).
- Test Center:
- The test will be conducted in Agartala only. Candidates will be informed about the venue through the Admit Card.
