The Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC), Gangtok, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 18 Block Officer posts under the Forest and Environment Department, Government of Sikkim. The recruitment will be conducted through Direct Recruitment on a temporary regular basis.

Eligibility Criteria for PSC

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Class X from a recognized board.

Other Qualifications

(a) Candidates must possess proficiency in any of the State Languages of Sikkim.
(b) Candidates should have a sound understanding of the customs and traditions of Sikkim.

Documents Required

Candidates must possess the following documents:

(a) Sikkim Subject Certificate (SSC) or Certificate of Identification (COI) issued by the competent authority under the relevant orders of the State Government of Sikkim.
(b) Category Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim.
(c) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Head of Department (for employed candidates).
(d) Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.
(e) Marital Status Certificate (for female candidates). In the case of married women candidates, the COI/SSC of the husband must be enclosed.

How to Apply for PSC Sikkim Recruitment 2025?

Application Process

• Candidates must carefully read the advertisement and follow the instructions provided on the official website before applying.
• Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.

Online Application & Fee Payment

• Candidates must apply online through the SPSC website (http://spsc.sikkim.gov.in/) within the stipulated deadline.
• Application Fee: ₹200/-
• The fee must be paid online using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard).
• The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other purpose.

Admit Card & Examination

• E-Admit Cards can be downloaded from the SPSC website after an official notice is issued.
• Candidates must carry a valid Photo Identity Proof (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving License) along with the E-Admit Card to the examination center.

Document Verification

• Candidates who qualify in the Written Examination will be called for document verification.
• Shortlisted candidates must submit attested photocopies of all required documents on the specified dates.

General Guidelines

• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the examination.
• Admission to all stages of the examination is provisional. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, their candidature will be canceled without notice.
• The Commission will not entertain RTI requests or correspondence regarding the recruitment process until the entire selection process is completed.
